Our Belief

Dake believes that every human should benefit from developments in healthcare – regardless of where they live. It is this belief that drives our commitment to develop and deliver unique health innovations that respond to the specific and tangible needs of vulnerable communities across the globe.

Affordable AI Solutions for Healthcare

We focus on providing affordable , innovative and quick diagnostic solutions. The main advantage of the edge computing device is its portability and its offline use. The advantages of the AI models can be multiple depending on the industry.

Our Solutions

A Software to detect TB

AI based diagnosis model for identification of TB and other possible ailments from digital chest X-Rays is developed end to end by Dake that is Simple and Easy to Use. The model is packaged in to various application logics to work online as Software as a Service (SaaS). It is also packaged and hosted in miniature computing devices such as Dake’s MeDedge. This makes the software completely portable and makes it work offline. This enables the use of this device in remote or rural environment even without any network connectivity. The device and the model are designed in such a way that it does not store any images after processing the digital X-rays. Only the results are stored in the Device.

Problem solved by the invention

The screening of X-Rays of people is time consuming, especially when they are in large numbers. In cases where a compensation needs to be paid out to them or further diagnosis and treatment need to be suggested. To shorten this period of screening without reducing the accuracy levels, Dake has developed a Machine Learning model that can predict the possibility of the various lung diseases. The accuracy levels have to be high to be considered for operational use. So, the model can diagnose very fast and is fine tuned to very high accuracy confirmed by the gold standards established by the medical fraternity for Tuberculosis. It has been tested by both private and public sectors for confirmation.

Our Approach

What is the global impact of tuberculosis?

In 2018, 1.7 billion people were infected by TB bacteria — roughly 23% of the world’s population. TB is the leading infectious disease killer in the world, claiming 1.5 million lives each year.

Of the 10 million individuals who became ill with TB in 2018, approximately three million were “missed” by health systems and do not get the care they need, allowing the disease to continue to be transmitted

Our Approach in Fighting Long Term Lung Diseases

The challenge of long-term lung diseases is multifaceted; and it requires a machine learned model that can intelligently identify the potential lung disease that is affordable, quick, accurate and easy to implement.

“TB is curable if diagnosed in time”

Solving the problem of tuberculosis requires a diagnostic solution that is fast and easy to use. MeDedge addresses the problem of TB diagnosis with the help of Artificial Intelligence model that can automatically screen the digital X-ray images and classify into Tuberculosis (TB), Normal and Abnormal.
